Michael A. Segovia joined the VCS Community
Change Project as the LGBT Program Coordinator
in 2004. In his own words, this was Michael's "dream job." He
brought commitment, courage, compassion, loving bear hugs and
an exquisite attention to
detail to every aspect of Gay Pride
Rockland Sunday and to all of the LGBT
programs that he worked on during his far too few years
with us.
Recently, the inception of The
Michael A. Segovia Fund
for Gay Pride
Rockland was announced – as an ongoing
tribute to Michael's memory and as a permanent source
of support
for Gay Pride Rockland and its programs.
